Amazing Conversation

I just had an amazing conversation with Diane Dewey about my memoir Api’s Berlin Diaries. My Quest to Understand my Grandfather’s Nazi Past. Diane’s comments and questions showed a profound understanding of the history of that period as well as the mood and themes of the memoir. In a natural, organic way Diane highlighted all the major points of the book. At the same time she allowed me ample space to talk and followed up on any suggestions I made. Despite the high level of engagement in complex themes, she made me feel relaxed and maintained an easy conversational style. As with all the other authors I have heard, Diane Dewey shows that she has made “the interview” into an art, based on thorough prep, inspiration, and great sensitivity. She is a careful reader able to get to the heart of each work. Any author is lucky to get a spot with her on Dropping In.
With thanks, Gabrielle

Fantastic and incisive style - will listen often!

I've only had the pleasure of listening to two of Dewey's podcast so far, but they're great! Her style is incisive, getting to the heart of the matter very quickly. She's a class act, making linkages between seemingly disparate ideas very succinctly. Love it and would advise for anyone!
