Hey everyone, this is LIVE, so please forgive the audio. Also, the episode fades out when the live Q&A starts because some of the questions were quite personal, and we felt those questions and answers belonged to the night. I hope you're ok with that.

Great crack lads!
Was always a fan of the Mike & Mike podcasts but having just recently discovered Johnson’s new one with Eddy, I’ve decided to start from episode one and don’t regret it. Very informative and down to earth, it’s all the conversations touring drummers would have if they were ever on the road together. Highly recommended to beginners and pro’s! Cheers guys and keep it up, it really gives you that push to squeeze in a few more paradiddles than you were going to…
Life skills for all
This isn’t just a Podcast it’s an M&S Podcast!
Mike and Eddy are inspirational, it’s not all about drums it’s about being the best you can be. Tuesday is now officially the best day of the week as I can listen to you on my drive to work.
Keep up the great work, you’re killing it!!!
Don’t meet your heroes
I’ve been a huge fan of the podcast since it began, listening to it week on week as soon as it came out, and I loved it!
One thing that I always found odd while listening was how Mike will go out of his way to say “he OR she” when describing someone, rather than “they”, which is more inclusive, and also quicker to say (seems like a win win, no?).
I was really saddened when listening to episode 92, where they had Craig Reynolds on, and a topic came up, about meeting a childhood friend after 20 years, and finding out they’re not that great anymore. Craig mentioned it’s like if they said a slur or were racist, to which Mike immediately came back with “or one of those guys that say ‘THEY’”, as if this is on the same level as a racial slur.
I find it embarrassing that someone with so much reach, working in the ARTS industry, can be so narrow minded as to go so far out of their way to exclude people. I can’t imagine how a trans person would feel at one of Mike’s camps.
It was a shame Craig didn’t call him out on it, as he seems to be an advocate for trans rights, but maybe it got lost in passing. I don’t know if Eddy has an opinion on this, but either way it hasn’t been voiced or challenged which is also a shame.
Regardless of the real reason, I won’t be listening again, or recommended either drummer to my students anymore.
