13. x4 Open Heart Surgeries to a 4 hour 58 Half Ironman - The Story of Joe Mc Connellogue (pt1)
This is an inspirational story of resilience, determination and endurance, but not just in a sporting context. Joe Mc Connellogue had to be all these things in the fight for his life as he underwent 4 open heart surgeries in the last 20 years due to a heart condition that went undetected until he was 27 when he had to have his first surgery. Joe who turns 50 next year had his 4th and most life threatening surgery in June 2019, and just 2 years later he completed a half Ironman in a time of 4hours 58mins in July 2021. 12. ITU Triathlete and Coach - Mark Buckingham
Mark Buckingham is a top level ITU Triathlete who is now transitioning to a coach and already coaches some top athletes. Marks sporting journey started in running and he made the change to triathlon after a running injury which lead him to pick up cycling to keep fit. Mark is a long time training partner and friend of the Brownlee Brothers and trains with them daily in Leeds. In this episode Mark tells us about his story in sport, we talk about triathlon training, and share some stories.

11. Tommy Zaferes - Former ITU professional triathlete, World Triathlon Photographer, JFT crew athlete.
Tommy Zaferes is a former ITU professional triathlete, unfortunately Tommys full time racing career was halted due to a severe heat stroke incident in a race, Tommy still races occasionally and trains full time with the Joel Filliol Training group which is undoubtably the most successful training group over the last few years and has multiple world champions including Vincent Luis and Katie Zaferes which is Tommys Wife. In this episode Tommy takes us through his journey to becoming a professional triathlete, how a heat stroke accident halted his full time racing, Super league racing, working for world triathlon as a content creator and photographer and so much more!

10. x10 Kona IRONMAN - Owen Martin Long Distance Triathlete
Owen Martin is a long distance triathlete who competes in Ironman distance events, Owen has completed over 25 Ironman races and has competed in Kona, the Ironman world championships in Hawaii 10 times! And will be going for the 11th time this October. It is an unbelievable achievement to even qualify once for Kona let alone 10 times and then to be competitive for a podium in his Age group, Owen is truly one of the best triathletes in the world in his age group over the Ironman distance. In this episode Owen talks about how he got to where he is today through his training, his preparation and his unbreakable mindset, passion and enjoyment for the sport.

8. Greg Bennett: Former World Triathlon Champion, Olympian and Host of the Greg Bennett Show
Greg Bennett is a former Professional Triathlete from Sydney, Australia. Greg is one of the all time greats of the sport, a champion, an olympian and a down to earth guy who has a burning passion for the sport of triathlon and all things health and fitness.
Greg has a very long list of achievements including two ITU world titles, one triathlon world championship, six triathlon World Cup wins, 23 podiums, a 4th place at Athens olympics, The lifetime fitness Grand slam (richest ever triathlon prize purse), over 100+ professional wins in olympic non drafting, 70.3 racing and the list goes on!
Greg is a remarkable athlete and person, his desire to help others and give back to the sport is admirable and his stories and advice will make you want to put on the training gear and head out to better yourself! Greg now hosts the Greg Bennett show and runs Bennett Endurance.
