Ep. 015 How To Grow Your Business On Instagram With Abi Hugo Cracking Content Podcast

The last Tuesday of every month Claire will interview an epic content creator and this week she is talking to Instagram Influencer Abi Hugo, who is an Influencer and Trainer. She has grown her account @TheWhiteThistle to over 25k in 2 years.
[0.58] My journey initially started with an idea for an online décor shop three years ago.
[1.33] I started to go to networking events and people were more interested in how I had grown my account to 5,000 followers.
[1.50] Around the same time I got approached by a brand to do my first paid content.
[2:18] What if I didn't have to ship out the packages and I could just create content for other brands and still get paid for that?
[3.35] I call myself a content creator because that is what I do, I'm creating content. I just love that is now my job. And someone will give me a product or service and I find a way to turn that into a story that connects with people and my audience.
[6.55] Being really engaging on Stories is a really big thing.
[8.05] I have a bit of a strategy behind the structure of my stories because it helps me know what I need to do.
[12.55] Getting over that 20k mark, gave me that like, "Okay, I'm a bit more established now, I can do this."
[14.23] Spend an hour to three hours actually creating, thinking about the content you want to create for the rest of the month.
