Eamonn is no one to be moralising to anyone about drug taking ffs.

Boomer analysis

Nothing new here, lots of pale, male and stale taking about politics as though nothing has changed in the last twenty years. Very US exceptionalist point of view, as if the rest of the world outside the Anglosphere should be viewed with suspicion.

Returning

I gave up on this podcast during Covid due to Eamon’s accommodation of hardline Covid restrictions advocates such as Tomas Ryan, not even a disease expert himself. I’ve loved Eamon as a journalist since the early 90s and have read his book but the Covid fatalism was just too much and I couldn’t listen to Ryan anymore. I see he hasn’t been on since 30th May and there’s been just two Covid shows since then so I guess I’m back on board.
