In this weeks episode, we take a look at British democracy and the death of Sir David Amess MP. On 15 October 2021, Amess was stabbed multiple times while holding a constituency surgery in Leigh-on-Sea. He died at the scene. Ali Harbi Ali, a British citizen of Somali heritage, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and has since been detained under the Terrorism Act. He is understood to have extremist Islamist beliefs.
