In this episode of Stories of Innovation, Andrew Lamb shares his experience from incubating Field Ready at Nepal Innovation Lab to scaling its impact in some of the complex humanitarian response settings. 

He portrays the need of decentralizing the global supply chain so that the relief products are cheaper, efficient, and faster. In addition, he shares his vision on expansion of 3D printing beyond the enthusiast circle and how this will change the world we live in.

Andrew is the founder of Engineers without Borders and Internet of Production Alliance. He is also a Shuttleworth Fellow focusing on open approaches to Massive Small Manufacturing – the concept of complementing innovative local manufacturing to decentralize global supply chain so that the people in the community feel empowered and the global technologies are localised. He lives in London and love LEGOs.
