EPISODE 105: Rationalizing Evil in El Salvador

EPISODE 104: The Saint and the Death Squads

This is a story about what happened in El Salvador in the 1970s and 1980s, and the role that democratic as well as republican administrations played in this tale. As much as humanly possible, I’ll try to let the facts speak for themselves and not inject too much of my own commentary.

saintSteve ,

The best!

Daniele is a master storyteller, but also a very honest historian. He’s crystal clear what we know for sure from the sources, and what we have to guess about. He’s also clearly a lovely gentleman, and listening to him is like spending time with a kind, wise, funny friend.
