I am a 37 year old mother of two, young girls. I have been married for 12 years and a teacher in the classroom for 11 years and now on my second year at a charter school. I have lived all over the United States but currently live outside of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I live on several acres and enjoy gardening, traveling and laying in my hammock reading. I homeschool my children and assist in homeschooling many more. My days are filled and very busy. I am an avid swimmer and enjoy hiking and taking nature walks. I have struggled with my weight since adolescence. I dealt with an eating disorder from high school to college and finally got help and counseling in college. When I met my husband I was at the lowest weight I had been since high school. I was running and watching my calories. After meeting my husband and starting my career, enjoyed food a little more and stopped running as much and put on 60 plus pounds. When we decided to start a family, I was able to carry both my children with healthy pregnancies but found myself 100 lbs. over weight. In February 2021, I had a friend on Facebook post about her journey on Intermittent fasting so I decided to hop in full force. I started February 2nd 2021 and have fasted every day since. I enjoyed the flexibility and the easiness of fasting. I am doing this for my comfort level. I am a naturally very healthy person and even my doctor told me I do not have to lose weight for health reasons but it is always a good thing to be at a healthy weight for you and your family. I have followed a OMAD protocol (usually in the afternoon) but I for the month of September I am trying to do MADF at least 2 days a week. I have lost over 70 lbs. and I will never go back. I enjoy using my vibration plate every day and playing with my children.
