Interviewer needs to challenge more

I disagree with JRM’s politics, but find him polite, logical and well argued. So it’s a pleasure to listen to him, even if not agreeing on many matters. But the interviewer needs to be bold and stronger: JRM’s derogatory comments about Douglas Ross being a lightweight - the leader of the Scottish Conservatives no less - needed to be challenged and probed. If he is a lightweight, what does that say about Scottish Conservatives making him leader? If he is not a lightweight, what does that say about JRM’s deflections to support an embattled PM? Come on, JRM is capable of a challenge, so don’t be too soft on him.
