Episode Two - The Family Unlocked Perspectives

    • Documentary

Welcome to Unlocked Perspectives!

In this episode, I speak to three brilliant women from an organisation called Partners of Prisoners, or POPS, a user led organisation which supports families through their contact with the criminal justice system as a result of a loved one’s conviction.

I spoke to CEO of POPS, Diane Curry OBE, about her own personal lived experience and how she has channelled it into her work at POPS. I also spoke to Operations Manager Debbie Seddon and Communications and Training Manager Rebecca Cheung about their fantastic work at POPS and what they think needs to change in our prison system.

This episode aims to unlock the perspective of the family and loved ones of people in prison and begin to break down the barriers and stigma that often surround these people in society.
