Joe Harvey Documentary
This is a fabulous documentary. Congratulations to everyone involved in its production. Joe had 224 appearances for the club, spanning 9 years, including a promotion to the topflight, lifting The Cup as captain twice, managing the club across 13 years including promotion to the topflight and winning a European trophy. Sir Bobby Robson managed the club across 6 years, achieving third & fourth place Premier league finishes, two qualifications for the UEFA Champions League and in one campaign progression to the second group stage of the UEFA Champions League. As far as Newcastle United is concerned Joe’s contribution to our history is far greater in terms of achievements and more substantial in time, than arguably anyone else and Sir Bobby’s N.U.F.C. record is a pale imitation. Joe should have a statue at St James’. Move Sir Bobby Robson’s statue to Wembley.
Sam the man
Love it when Sam guests on the podcast, always makes for a great show. Brilliant opinions with knowledge and humour.
Great stuff
Brilliant to hear more of Sam on the podcast. Such quick dry wit is a welcome addition to an already fab Newcastle United podcast. Keep it up!
