Serendipity

I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast - thank-you! It is such a beautiful story with so many amazing situations and crossing of paths...I love that! So, I would also like to explain the choice of ‘Serendipity’ as a title for this review.
Listening to the Einaudi story, I was struck by the experiences of so many people being ‘drawn’ to the music, as if some cosmic force was working to align those people with the experience of the Maestro’s music. I realised that this same force was working in my life too. I recently (last year) decided to learn how to play the piano and prior to this had (unbelievably) never heard of Einaudi. I am taking online lessons and there are forums available for students to share videos and practice ideas. Via this learning site I first encountered the name ‘Einaudi’, then saw some other students playing his music in their practice videos, then I had a look on YouTube at some of his music, and then this podcast appeared in my podcast browse! Now, I am another huge fan! And just the other day another student began a practice thread on the learning site - ‘Einaudi’s Practice Thread’!! Some day I hope to be able to play some of his music, so ‘Serendipity’ seems quite an apt title 😉

Touching the deepest parts of us

I really loved this exploration of how Ludovico touches those who listen to him. I kept hearing phrases like “almost nothing”, “simple” and “silences in-between”. As a yoga therapist I find his beautiful compositions gently touch and compassionately awaken those parts of us which we rarely tune into or listen to so deeply. This podcast was such a beautiful collection of how music does exactly this; tunes us into our deepest voices. As a great man once said “the quieter we become the more we can hear”. Ludovico’s music guides you into that quiet space like a warm and supportive hand at your back.
