In this podcast, the team at Smart Works charity brings a group of inspirational women together to explore the transformative power of fashion.
Each week, fashion journalist and Smart Works supporter Tiffanie Darke speaks to a different guest about that one piece of clothing that gave them confidence at a crucial moment and the impact that fashion has played throughout their lives.

Gina Martin’s patterned mini dress
Opening their wardrobe doors to host Tiffanie Darke this week, is author and activist Gina Martin.
Gina talks Tiffanie through the story behind her campaign to make upskirting illegal, as well as her journey from working in advertising to working in campaigning and how that transition influenced her fashion choices.
Gina also brings with her, a dress she brought in Australia that always makes her feel a million dollars and has joined her at key moments in both her personal life and career.

Jo Elvin’s Little Black Dress
Joining host Tiffanie Darke on the podcast this week is fashion editor turned charity CEO, Jo Elvin.
Tiffanie and Jo take a trip down memory lane, reliving the challenges and joys of being a fashion editor for the UK’s top women’s magazine during the noughties, as well as the story behind her recent career change, becoming the CEO of Children with Cancer UK.

Felicity Hayward’s Biker Jacket

Gemma Cairney’s Pink Blazer
Opening their wardrobe doors this week is broadcaster and writer, Gemma Cairney.
Gemma shares her style highs and lows with hoist Tiffanie Darke, from her beginnings as a tequila girl, to wearing a ‘flying pig jumper’ to her first days in broadcasting.
Gemma recently moved to Scotland to pursue her dream of writing and she shares the thought process leading to such a momentous career change.

Angela Scanlon’s Blue Boilersuit
The first guest opening their wardrobe doors to host Tiffanie Darke is TV presenter and podcaster Angela Scanlon.
