Flipping the Script as a Cannabis Researcher with Devon Rapken Exploring Cannabis & Exercise

    • Health & Fitness

Hello and welcome back to exploring cannabis and exercise! The podcast where the anecdotes meet the data. And happy new year!
So for my first episode of the year, I thought we’d start the new year with a new cannabis researcher at University of Colorado - Devon Rapken. I met Devon at the Cannabis Research Conference in Denver last summer and we have stayed in touch ever since. In this conversation, we talk about our interest in the brain, cannabis and body awareness, increasing diversity in research, and getting better at playing the piano.
Hope you enjoy and make good choices out there.
note: I'll be releasing episodes every other week this spring and will be ramping up episodes about the Olympics and cannabis this summer. Email me cannabisandexercise@gmail.com or DM me  on Instagram any questions you'd like answered for my Olympics episodes.

Host: Whitney Ogle DPT, PhD
Intro Music: Haley Montowski (and producer for Season 1 - thank you Haley!)
Music: "Bonfire Cauliflower" by Isaac Joel

**Friendly reminder/disclaimer** I am not suggesting everyone use cannabis with exercise. Cannabis is definitely not for everyone. But if you're curious about your own use, understanding more about why people use cannabis with exercise, or want to learn about the latest research in the field, you're in the right place. Make good choices out there.
