I'm not scared of Graeme Souness

Marcus, Luke and Jim round up a scorching weekend of Premier League madness, with Arsenal pouring some long lost sauce over an utterly overcooked Spurs.

Elsewhere, Brentford and Liverpool remind us of their strengths, Ole Gunnar Solskjær takes a page from his idol's playbook and José Mourinho plays out the Rome derby in typically understated fashion.

    More Timo Werner conspiracy theories

The magic of the Carabao lives on, as David Moyes got one over his old employers and AFC Wimbledon accepted an invite to the big dance at the Emirates. Shame they lost - can't have it all, Andy.

Andy's joined by Jules and Luke for a roundup of the other League Cup matches, where Chelsea and Spurs scraped through on penalties and the Seagulls did the business again. We also look into the rise of 'support players' and the recent developments around the future of safe standing in football - join us!

    Wycombe Wycombe - Junglist massive

    Wycombe Wycombe - Junglist massive

The away end at the Etihad was absolutely pumping for 22 minutes last night and Gareth Ainsworth was delighted - let's just forget the subsequent shellacking from Man City.

Kate, Vish and Luke get in the third round of Carabao, with Brentford turning on the style and QPR and Stoke both claiming big boy scalps. We also address more listener dilemmas without much skill or purpose - similar to FIFA's continued policy around eradicating racism, it turns out.

    The rave's still on

    The rave's still on

Kate, Vish and Jim take a break from two-stepping around Newcastle's festival scene with Jordan Pickford to assess how Everton have started and what they can expect from this season.

We also look into some peculiar social media action from Arsenal, try to seize the means of footballing production and look ahead to another round of that sweet, sweet Carabao.

Martin Keown's cave of whispering desires

Martin Keown's cave of whispering desires

Premier League strikers beware - Martin Keown knows how to handle you. Especially you, Romelu.

Marcus, Andy and Pete cast their hive mind over the weekend's action, as Spurs crumble to predictable pieces and Man Utd escape West Ham with all three points. There's also time for an impressive win for Watford, the sorry state at Derby County and a reality check for Messrs Neville and Beckham.

Darren Peacock ,

Sorry but I’m out

The new format just doesn’t work for me.

I also just couldn’t deal with Jim’s self righteousness anymore. I just want to listen to a bit of light hearted chat about the old footballs.

Ciaran Henry ,

Very good 2/3 days a week

Marcus and Jules are both fantastic hosts and all of there shows are brilliant, love having more of the ramble ! Could definitely leave the rest.
