Our hosts Andrew and local author Kirkland Ciccone are having a look at some well-known books and their movie adaptations to see what the differences are as well as a meander of movie trivia and chat along the way.

    Let's Go Libraries and Authors

    Let's Go Libraries and Authors

Springtime can be a very busy time in our libraries as our school break activities kick in. This year is no different and we are in the middle of Let's Go Libraries.
Join our E-Services Librarian to find out about some of the events that are coming up in the second week of the programme.
It's not all about the children though. Listen on to find out more about not one, not two, not even three, but four author events that you can be involved with. Three are in-person events at Motherwell Library with Julie Kennedy, Louise Welsh and Damian Barr. There's also a fourth forthcoming event with Kate Morton which is an online event from our eLibrary partner, BorrowBox.

    Balance | Bea's Books

    Balance | Bea's Books

Bea's challenge for Jennie and Pari this week was balance. They called in some help to make sure they were up to the task from fellow staff member Mark.
The three of them all looked the topic in different ways but definitely managed to find some interesting books to fit the theme.
It's a fun and entertain chat that might just inspire your read to pick up at your local library.
All the books are available from your local library either on the shelf or to reserve.
