Napoli's grinta returns, and howlers dominate Rome Derby

It was another dramatic week in Serie A, so the Forza Italian Football podcast is here to get you right up to date.

Napoli upset all the odds by inflicting Juventus’ second defeat of the season, with Bianconeri coach Maurizio Sarri making some choice comments post match.

Super Serie A Sunday continued in Rome where Lazio’s winning run was ended by Roma, though they made it 15 without defeat in the top flight. The goalkeepers though, will want to forget the match pretty quickly.

Inter were haunted by former midfielder Radja Nainggolan, AC Milan continued their winning streak with Brescia the latest victims, and Atalanta reached seventh heaven in Torino.  For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy

Zlatan is back, but AC Milan are not

It may be a new year but Serie A and the Forza Italian Football Podcast are still here to make your weeks a little bit better.

Conor Clancy and Vito Doria are alone this week and with Conor battling off sickness, Vito carried this week's show as they guys talked through all things Serie A, including the small matter of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's return to AC Milan.

Ibra and Milan could only draw with Sampdoria though, while Inter and Juventus both won at the top, Atalanta won 5-0 - again! - Lazio grabbed another late winner and Roma slipped up against Torino.

There were some other big results at the bottom including wins for Genoa and Udinese, while SPAL lost to Hellas Verona and Bologna scored a late equaliser against Fiorentina. For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy

The Best Crap Derby in the World

The Best Crap Derby in the World

There was a surprise in the #FIFpod this week as Vito Doria and Kevin Pogorzelski were not joined by Conor Clancy in the host’s chair.

Nevertheless, they soldiered on and even managed to go through Sampdoria’s win over Genoa in the Derby della Lanterna, Napoli’s defeat to Parma, and 120 years of AC Milan.

Elsewhere, Juventus and Inter continued to match each other, and there is a special podcast appearance from Alasdair Mackenzie to talk about Roma’s resurgence.

All that and much more on this week’s Forza Italian Football Podcast.  For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy

Great, but inconsistent.

Love the content, but not reliable when it comes to wanting a podcast to keep me updated on a weekly basis. I appreciate it's hard for the boys to make it a weekly thing free of charge, but the unreliability of the releases makes it a somewhat disjointed fixture.

But - like I said - very good value when it does actually come out.

This is raw, but informative, I actually really enjoy the pod cast - seems to be easier to listen to than other Italian Serie specific podcasts - well done lads keep it up!

Focuses only on certain clubs

Generally give a good overview of Serie A but only focus on certain clubs. The lack of talk about Lazio Is bordering on the bizarre.
