Games on Film

I’ve been an avid follower of the podcast since its first episode. I enjoy the chemistry between the hosts and their guests, it’s such an easy and fun listen. Granted, you may have to appreciate the humour to really get into it. As a gamer myself I like hearing their take on games and the influence in the movies. I’ve even watched a few movies on then back of these reviews and agree while some of them haven’t been ‘good’ they’re a fun watch. I’d recommend this podcast to any video game or movie buff with an open mind, or interested in IPs that span multiple mediums (?)(my English is really failing me and I can’t think of a better word), as often they do go into depth of the history of that IP.

These guys really go in depth in what room they are talking about and always give the other host time to say what they need to say.and the chemistry flows really well they never make the podcast stop at points it goes from topic to topic really well. It’s a phrase you hear about every video game movie announcement. And this podcast proves that we’ve already had A) more video game movies then people think and B) more video game movies worth watching than people think! This podcasts examines this little sub genre in sometimes excruciating detail but always makes me want to check out the film (and replay the games)! They are also clearly saving some of the most famous movies for special occasions which excites me.
