The 2nd episode is about Aston Hall in Birmingham, England. A 400 year Jacobean house that was but by Sir Thomas Holte. The history of this house has ties with the English Civil War and has 3 main ghosts.

The 1st episode is about Ye Olde Black Cross in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, England. A 400 year building that started life as a blacksmiths cottage and went on to become a coaching Inn and now a pub. The history ties together nicely with the ghost tales with a visit from a King and tales of hangings in the courtyard which is now the pubs garden.
