In this episode, we chat with TheGlastoThingy from Twitter, who is on a mission to document all facts and stats from the festival to find out if there is a pattern.
Line Up 2022 - who should we be excited about
With only just over two months until the 2022 Glastonbury Festival, after a 3 year unplanned hiatus, the full line up poster has finally dropped! The GlastoCast gang are back together to talk about what we've been up to and welcome our incredible guest, Kaptin Barrett - Head of Music for both Boomtown Fair and Big Love festival. This man knows his stuff about music, and we invite him on to get us excited about lesser-known acts on the 2022 Line Up.
The Greenpeace Field: festival and activism
We're back! Find out how we spent what was supposed to be Glastonbury weekend and how we dealt with the sad news of the cancellation. We also have a chat with the Creative Director for Greenpeace at the festival about the challenge of running a field combining festival vibes with a call to activism.
Volunteering at Glastonbury Festival
Attend the festival and support a good cause
Glastonbury tickets are tough to get, but if you missed out, there is another fantastic way of experiencing the festival – you can volunteer!
For the first time ever, we have guests in our studio: a group of experienced volunteers talk about the good bits, and not so good bits, of one of the few legitimate ways of attending Glasto after tickets sell out.
Our Glastonbury Festival 2019 - the best bits!
It’s been a while! Sorry everyone for the delay, but we’re back with our unofficial Glastonbury Festival podcast, and it’s the first episode since we started this project where we’ve been and come back from Worthy Farm!
We have so much to talk about that will probably span many episodes, but for our first one back we talk about our arrivals, favourite moments, the new areas for 2019 (Arcadia Pangea, Glastonbury On Sea, IICON…), lessons learned for next time, and also we finish with a chat around TICKET DAY – the most terrifying day in our calendar years! What are our tips / rituals?
It’s our longest episode yet and we had so much fun recording it. As always let us know what you think! Get in contact on our socials – Twitter @glasto_cast !
Taking steps towards a greener festival, and a greener future
We talk reducing waste and keeping your items safe before you take them all home.
Whether you are a veteran or looking forward to your Glastonbury debut, this is THE essential pre-festival listen. Glastocast excels in conveying the the utter joy that is the Glastonbury festival. Chock full of helpful advice and happy anecdotes, Glastocast is definitely the Podcast Stage headliner.
Lovely Glasto Podcast
These podcasts are great full of info about the real Glastonbury experience ,
I started going in 2004 probably could have and should have gone much earlier . I then went in 2005, 2011-2013 . I can relate to so much you talk about I love how each podcast flows with normality of real Glasto ppl.
Can I add my only gripe with Glastonbury these days and it’s not really their fault , it’s social media .
There is no need to advertise the ticket sale days as most ppl if they want to go they already know when they need to be on that keyboard ready to put those details in .
Sometimes conspiracy kicks in specially when I’m not successful . I miss it so much 😅 wish they kept it a secret but of course how can you
SERIOUSLY THIS IS A 10/10 PODCAST!
I am going to Glastonbury for the first time this year, and with out this podcast I would be 100% lost!
Thank the festival gods for this podcast!!
