Growing microgreens with Rich from @sowfreshofficial Diaries of a Lady Gardener

    • Home & Garden

Hello, and welcome to Diaries of a Lady Gardener.
If you think gardening is cool and would rather take a trip to the garden centre than go out out, then you’ve found the right podcast. But also, you’re not in the minority.
Research from Draper Tools has revealed that over 80% of young people officially think gardening is cool, mainly because of its benefits for mental health and the environment.
Draper Tools is proudly sponsoring this podcast, so why not join me in following them on Instagram, “at Draper underscore tools”?
In this episode, I got to chat with Rich from SowFresh all about glorious micro greens. Prior to this episode, Rich had sent me one of their fabulous green kits to try for myself and I am fully obsessed with it. As I record this there are radishes ready to cut that were only sowed 7 days ago, pea shoots going mad and coriander (more on that in the episode). It was great to hear more about their journey and you really get a sense of just how passionate Rich is about homegrown! Enjoy listening!
I hope that this has inspired you to give micro greens a go, they’re super easy and a perfect crop to get started as the summer season comes to an end to keep yourself eating home grown. Do check Sow Fresh out on Instagram @sowfreshofficial and take a look at their kits. They look great and are a super tasty addition to your meals - I know Rich would be happy to answer any questions you may have too!
If you’ve enjoyed listening today, please do subscribe too keep up to date with upcoming episodes and leave a review! In the meantime, I’d love to hear any of your questions and stories on Instagram @diaryofaladygardener or via email diaryofaladygardener@gmail.com.
