In our latest unlocked episode of The Rental, the Halloweenies head to the basement of a Los Angeles monastery to join forces with quantum physicist Professor Howard Birack and a strange Catholic priest who bears a striking resemblance to Donald Pleasance. Together, they decipher their feelings on John Carpenter's 1987 supernatural horror epic Prince of Darkness. Note: This was recorded in January 2022.

One of the best
One of the best horror podcasts out there. Love the detail and passion these guys put into each episode. And there are very little ticky box, woke agendas that most podcasts feel the need to bang on about for 90% of their episodes. Just talk about the movie, and that’s what this show does, sprinkled in with a bit banter and humour. Great job guys!

Just starting loving it so far
I’m just starting to listen to this podcast now and it is very good. Thank you.
However, as a Celtic person (I’m Irish) can I just point out that it is not “Sam hain” but “saowin.” Or “sow (like the female pig) in” That’s how the word Samhain is pronounced.
Sorry, it’s just a pet peeve I have hearing anyone outside of Ireland and Scotland pronouncing this word.
Other than that the podcast seem like a lot of fun I’m just sad to see that so many films I recognise are only on your patreon. But i will enjoy the ones available.
