Great Show for GMs of Any Level

Fun banter, insightful discussion, and plenty of beers makes me feel like I’m hanging with my fiends talking about all the best (and most horrific) times of playing RPGs.

Some campaigns better than others...

One of the most listenable Actual Plays out there. Very much an unedited recording of a friendly session, you get all the sidechat, rules discussion, etc. that happens at your table (and so it can be a useful tool for seeing out an unfamiliar ruleset runs).

I'd doesn't have the "polish" of a 'cast like OneShot, but actually I find the "Chicago Impro company" professionalism of that crew very off putting.

Some campaigns are better than others, and as this used to be mostly the same GM and a pool of players, I put the difference down to some systems leading to more podcast-able actual plays than others. More recently however, the pool of players and GMs has widened and so more people will find something to their liking.

The absolute highlight has to be the very first, The Saga of the Inukai, an L5R 4ed campaign featuring a Crane Vassal clan.

The Eldemy D&D 5th campaign is pretty good too.

Great Show - Keep Up the Good Work

So funny - I have a 30min walk to work and listen there and back again and love every minute. Strangers on the street walk around me giving me a wide berth as I must look very strange to them as sunddely I laugh out aloud and walk with a grin so big I look like one of the Joker's victims. I have Bi-polar and the one thing that always helps when the darkness appears is your show. Keep up the good work - S.G (UK)
