Enlightening
I am a fit and healthy woman in her fifties, living in the U.K. I also have a degree in Biomedicine and Human Nutrition. I say that, to present credentials to show I have a genuine appreciation of what good health is about.
However, I drink too much wine! And I want to stop. I’m not sure if I want to stop completely because I genuinely enjoy good wine and sharing that with my husband. At my age I’m afraid, the wine (no matter how good the quality ), is brining toxic to me. It affects my sleep and my energy levels and I’m gaining weight, despite eating healthily and exercising regularly.
I found it difficult to find a podcast or even advice, that takes a less dramatic approach to sobriety than total abstinence. The guidance and advice are honest, straightforward and doable. The narration is calm and engaging.
I intend to listen to more and probably subscribe.
Thank you.
Mart-Jane.
