Tim Burton meets Audrey Hepburn’ is how Ashleigh Hodges describes her style – classic and chic but with a quirky edge. Being Dubbed The Hair Geek and having the motto 'Knowledge Is Power' what Ashleigh doesn't know isn't worth knowing! Being an all rounder Ashleigh brings passion and inspiration to all that she does. Starting her career at the tender age of 11 years old, Ashleigh believes she was born a hairdresser, having now four generations of hairdressers in the family. It's most definitely in her blood. So while avant-garde editorial work is Ashleigh's forte, she’s also very passionate about creative colour, precision cuts and all-round cool-yet-wearable styles.
Ashleigh is a highly sort after stylist. Being called upon by the biggest brands in haircare, and representing Davines as an Artist, working around the world on shoots and shows. New York, Venice, South Africa and San Diego to name but a few. She is constantly in demand for photo shoots, having work published in LA, Australia, South Africa and many UK editorials. Ashleigh was a regular backstage at London Fashion Week, working backstage for the likes of PPQ, House of Holland and David Koma. Now she works more commercial being behind the scenes of exciting music videos and TV including working on The Voice UK.
She has been really generous donating her time, equipment and products to us at Haircuts4Homeless Training Academy. Her husband Matt has kindly donated his time to us at Haircuts4Homeless and I'm privileged to call them my friends.
