Too many ads

Too many advertisements. It’s boring and unnecessary. Distracts from the flow of content.

Heather Dubrow’s Show not Natalie

Fed up of Natalie’s birthday party/engagement, then Natalie’s gift list, then Natalie’s baby shower. Enough is enough. This is so boring. Taking up a whole show with Natalie and her so-so relationship, baby, etc is just not on. Mention it, yes, but not the whole show.

Entertaining and easy listening

Although there are two presenters, Heather and Natalie, Heather does almost all of the talking. Natalie may occasionally get a word in edgewise which is a shame because I’d like to hear more from her.
I do think Heather seems like a genuinely nice person who has intelligent things to say. I particularly like her approach to parenting and that she’s so in tune with what her children are doing and how they’re feeling. I also enjoy hearing about her weekends, vacations etc. What does get on my nerves is continually hearing about her mega house - the one with the fourteen bathrooms. You read that right - fourteen bathrooms. Yes it is sometimes nice to have insight into “how the other half live”, that’s probably why the Real Housewife franchise is so successful but, in these times when so many people are struggling to keep even a modest roof over their heads, it seems boastful and insensitive.
This is one of those podcasts that you can get anyway with only half listening to. It provides a companionable background whilst I’m getting on with chores or driving.
