Black Lives Matter
From The Scavengers Network: Why is this audio file so long? The time from the last word of the statement to the last second of the track totals 8 minutes and 46 seconds. 8 minutes and 46 seconds doesn't sound like a long time until you are confronted with just how long it can drag on. 8 minutes and 46 seconds is how long it took to end George Floyd's life [https://www.8m46s.com]. At the Scavengers Network, we support the nationwide protests against police brutality; because Black Lives Matter. It is not enough to simply be “not racist”. You must be anti-racist. This is not a matter of “differing politics” nor is it something that is up for debate. This is about human and civil rights. We must make Black voices heard. Amplify and listen to Black voices. We have always been committed to using our platform to raise others up, and do what is right. Please, join us.

FABulous
I love the simplicity of the premise. Each week sisters Lindsey and Whitney pick a subject and each select a figure from history connected with said subject. Discussion ensues as they try to determine who is the most ‘hot’.
I’ve learned about loads of figures I knew very little about and the chemistry between the sisters (and their occasional guests) makes this good, wholesome, often educational fun.
5 stars from me!
Loads of fun
Historical hotties compares different historical figures and rate them for their 'hotness' which involves, quotes and facts about them. This is a really interesting way to look at people that you may (or may not) know in a different light and can have some hilarious moments. I particularly enjoyed the Tony episode and the obvious Freddie Mercury quotes: hilarious. This is a fun, light hearted podcast and definitely worth a listen.
Fascinating, fun and so clever.
Historical hotties, a podcast hosted by two sisters, Lindsay and Whitney. The premise of the pod is to take historical figures from a range of fields such as glam rock, con artists, mystery writers and much more.
They then rate them over four areas: physical attractiveness, mental attractiveness, social impact and je ne sais quoi. What this gives you is a fascinating, fun, funny, very clever and intelligent show.
The chemistry between the sisters is charming, I’ve been entertained hugely and have also learned. Can’t recommend this show enough.
