Perfectly adequate

Not as bad as the worst podcast I have ever heard

Terrible

Downloaded the Spike Milligan episode to while away part of a long car journey, as Spike is a comedy hero of mine. What a load of garbage. Basically just two semi-literate fools reading out a bunch of facts that they’ve found on the internet, many of which are wrong!

Just a few that I can remember. The author who wrote the Bedsitting Room with Spike was John Antrobus. I don’t know what bizarre surname it was that you gave him, but it was clearly wrong.

Michael Bentine narrated The Wombles?! Someone should tell Bernard Cribbins, he’ll be amazed.

Peter Sellers filled in all the characters when Spike was out of the Goon Show with illness? Rubbish. Dick Emery and Graham Stark filled in.

And as for repeatedly rechristening Eric Sykes as “Skyes”......

Don’t waste your time with these idiots. I only listened to the end because it was like a car crash - I really should’ve switched off, but couldn’t resist the temptation to keep listening just to see what load of utter rubbish they came up with next.
