Warm fuzzy ghost stories

One of the first podcasts i started listening to before I became a 12 hour a day podcast addict. I don’t listen much any more but when I do I always get a warm fuzzy feeling from your stories and your lovely voice!

Great Podcast

Excellent podcast, really well produced and presented with interesting weekly features. Great sound quality, a bit ropey in the first few episodes but quickly improves once up and running.

A bit like podcast crack cocaine

Diane has got her format down to a T and is extremely talented at making you feel as though she’s sitting in another room in my house, chatting. I studied American History for a year at university here in Scotland, and it’s great to hear of historical events in deeper detail, well done Chickadee, you have a skill at making it vibrant and alive while being respectful of the fact that these are real people, with descendants, who deserve the respect that you’d want given to your parents.
I’ve been bedbound for 2 years and finding HGB a few weeks ago has been like a gift from the Angels, I’ve got some quality banter that isn’t in any way taxing or difficult to understand. I’m a first time podcast reviewer, and this is probably my final 1, too but I’ve been prompted to comment because the nit-picking, petty, mundane faults that are being used to justify a low rating are beyond silly. Some folks need to stand up, go outside and join the world; perhaps their perspective would change with a little real life intervention. In the big bigger picture.
Professional, funny, informative, engaging and easy listening to help school kids become switched on to history. Go you!
