Depression is one of my life companions that made me go within. Psychotherapy, counselling, self-help books - none of them went deep enough for me to grasp the root cause.
And none of them was interested in my self-sufficiency as I was.
Then slowly and accidentally, as I was digging deeper and deeper into my wisdom, things lead to Buddhism. It took me a few years and I soon learnt that it's not for us to intellectualise but it's for us to use to heal and to become more virtuous if we wanted to find our peace with ourselves and others.
Buddhism helped me massively and still does. Why? Because, unlike other methods, it goes to the root causes of our suffering. And the root causes, my friend, are not that unique as we think, they are rather universal facts about our humanity.
Listen to my free and short video about how Buddhism can help us cope and cure Buddhism if we're willing to do the real work.
