Zoe Munday was born in London but despite being in a suburban environment, grew up with a strong connection to nature. She went on to study Biology at the University of Portsmouth travelling to Honduras for her dissertation research in her third year which sparked her passion for conservation, and then earned an MSc by Research studying bumblebee behaviour at Royal Holloway University of London. At the age of 27 and several chemistry laboratory jobs later has finally found her way back to biology with a job as a Biology technician at none other than Eton College. Her drive to make the world a more ethically-sustainable place has always been at her core, from learning to make her own toothpaste to encouraging reusing and recycling among colleagues and friends, as well as helping to develop Portsmouth's first zero-waste supermarket during the pandemic. She now is focussed on working her way into ecology and sustainability consultancy and is even thinking about starting a PhD next year.
