Human Podcast - People share their stories of tough experiences they have gone through. These are usually topics that aren’t spoken about. The hope here is that by bringing them to light it will help others feel less alone in what they are going through and give us all a better understanding of what it’s like to walk in the shoes of others.
New season releasing this summer.

Cancer’s Impact on Loved Ones: My Story
In this season finale I asked my best friend, Sierra, to interview me on my experience during my mom's cancer journey. My mom was diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer in July 2022 and I dropped everything to move home to Bermuda to be with her and the family during this time.
As we begin a new year, my mom rings the end of treatment bell and I pause to reflect on the journey we wen't through to get to this moment. This is a story of heart ache, hope and how powerful a positive mind set is. -

Ep.5: Going through Premature Menopause (Premature Ovarian Insufficiency)
Katy shares her experience going through premature menopause during her 30s. This is when the ovaries stop producing eggs before they should and no longer create the hormones estrogen and progesterone, which are important for women's health and well-being (The Daisy Network, 2022).
Katy says that 1 in 100 women who are under the age of 40 will experience this.

Great takes on important issues
I love this podcast. It’s so refreshing to listen to people talk about their vulnerabilities, as these topics are often not discussed but are so important as they are fundamental for stigmas to be broken down and for there to be more human connection, understanding and compassion. I’ve learnt a lot and appreciate now more than ever that everyone has their own struggles. Thank you Jess!
A lesson in Human empathy
Jess grips topics that many would shy away from, and in doing so, helps breaks down stigmas to enable us as human beings to relate to one another. She tells the stories of her guests with compassion. This podcast is needed now more than ever.
The podcast we didn’t know we needed
So glad I found this podcast. I have a friend who has had a really bad year and it was so hard to know what to say to help... listening to these episodes has really helped understand how people feel when they go through something traumatising. Thank you Jess!
