Welcome 2022! A recap of 2021, and the lessons learned.

Welcome 2022! A recap of 2021, and the lessons learned.

2021 was a rough year for all of us. I am pretty sure some of us were having a much better year than the previous 2020, but still, a rough year overall. 2021 allowed for many challenges in my life and an overwhelming sense of emotional complacency. I was hoping 2021 would bring much joy, but in reality, it brought much confusion, sadness, and anger. I prayed and prayed for a good year and for miracles to happen, but they never did. Finally, at the end of my witts, the Lord answered prayers and I was flabergasted. I couldn't believe He would actually do what He promised. My doubts always seem to find some way back into my brain, and regretfully, they seem to rule my heart sometimes. In this recap, we talk about what I learned in 2021 and how I can apply these lessons to 2022.

    Thanks for listening!

Moving to bigger and better tings* s2 ep4

Moving to bigger and better tings* s2 ep4

Another day, another dollar. In today's episode, we discover when you've outgrown your current position at work. It may be a hard decision to make at the end of the day, but it is totally worth it. I had struggled through several months of contemplating leaving my job. I loved my job, loved my coworkers, and even loved the work we were doing as an organization. Ultimately, I had outgrown my role at the company and the only solution that made sense was for me to leave the org.

Hey, bigger and better things are always a great adventure. When it comes down to it; what is life without a little bit of risk? Maybe it is time for you to consider leaving your job. Or maybe it is the perfect time to appreciate what you have and pursue higher positions in your current organization.

    Austin, Patience, and Anaphylactic Shock!

    Austin, Patience, and Anaphylactic Shock!

Do you ever wonder what you'd do if someone told you to wait for an hour but you're stuck there waiting for a year? Would you go insane? Would you lose hope? What are you waiting for? Is it even worth it? In this episode we dive deep into patience and what it has looked like for me recently. I have been struggling with patience, control, and overall a sense of belonging. It has been hard for me to build friendships, connect with others, and trust people since I had friendship fallouts in the past years. In this episode, we discover the fears behind wanting to control things, my struggles with trusting the Lord, and how I can understand to be more myself.

A boy, a pimple, and a glass of wine.

A boy, a pimple, and a glass of wine.

What do you do when you're stressed? Apparently, I break out... a lot. The past couple of weeks in my life have been utter hell, and I say that in the nicest way possible because I know actual hell is way worse. My mind is fuzzy, my body is aching, my emotions are all over the place, and on top of that, I met a boy. Life as a 26-year-old single woman just proves to get more and more unknown. It's as if every day brings another load of problems, emotions, situations, and anxieties I didn't know could exist and yet, they do... all at once... in my life.

In this episode we talk about stress, we talk about boys, we talk about the anxieties of having emotions and we also talk about relaxing and enjoying life. Because that is what life is about, right? Slow down and smell the roses. Take a walk outside, take a hot bath, go on a weekend getaway. Do something to clear your head and rid your body of the terrible anxieties that hold you hostage on every other day of the year. I am so sick of feeling like I'm on the brink of a meltdown, so I decided to record this episode, half asleep, half crazy, and full lunatic wishing my life was different. But isn't that all of us? Don't we all wish we were on the other side of the grass?

Thank you for listening to this week's episode of "I gotta share!" My podcast where I share the deep dark details of my being without exposing TOO much that would get me fired or arrested. I am responsible. This episode is sponsored by Anchor, the only platform to record your podcast on because it's just that good, and it pays you! Can't beat that.

    Talk to you soon.

    xoxo Bronwyn
