Improvised Star Trek explores the final frontier of comedy by turning Star Trek into an improv office comedy. Taking suggestions submitted on Twitter and Facebook, the cast (featuring some of Chicago’s top improvisors) creates a fully improvised episode detailing the adventures of the USS Sisyphus, a less enterprising starship. Amazing (whenever you listen)
I’m not really into Star Trek, know of it but haven’t watched (but now that’s changed!) coming to this show late (unfortunately) but it’s quickly become one of my favourite podcasts. I’m glad I get to enjoy some of the cast in other shows but the magic this has is unique!
Just finished my 3rd listen through. Now I think I’ll relisten to my favourite ones.

I love this podcast so much and have listened to all the episodes multiple times! These guys are so funny and make every day so much better!
Amazing long form improv
These guys are great with fantastic long form improv story telling which has to last longer than just one episode because everything is cannon (something that is a heck of a challenge) to then be aware how to play with these continuing elements to make sure new listeners are not completely lost is also fantastic. As a Star Trek fan it is great to enjoy the fact that the cast clearly understand the original material and basically make it a sand box to play in and allow the listeners just to enjoy. I’m currently going through the back catalogue and it means my drives to work have plenty to fill them as there’s some much but heck I’m going through the entirety of Star Trek in broadcast order also at the moment so this isn’t a slog at all.
