No Province for Old Men...from Site Zed
From the website Site Zed, Kirk Eddlemon joins In Between Swims for his story "No Province for Old Men."
"From our overhung perch hundreds of feet above Snowcap Creek, it appeared Bett and I would have a slow if not bumpy flow. We quickly assessed it as perfect for a September afternoon exploratory fix. Only after pulling a few strokes into the bulging center flow did we immediately adjust our assessment from "a good first time level" to "high water indeed..."

insperation
I am a UK paddler (the isle of wight) and despite the Inbetween swims: The Whitewater podcast being US based it has been inspirational for me with regards to what else is out there, new products, coaching styles, boat design and making me want to get out and paddle.
My last swim was on the Dee North Wales; I stacked it in a stopper and lost my paddle. During this winters pool sessions I need to learn how to hand roll.
Great to have you back
Another wonderful podcast. I have missed your brilliant podcasts. Glad to have you back. The latest one about the Congo is just one of the best. Just magic.
