Customer Reviews
The to go to podcast for exceptional analysis of Madonna’s music
As a Madonna fan since 1985, it’s not until listening to Russell’s podcast did I learn how and why most of her songs were recorded. His research is phenomenal and I am a Patreon as a thank you. He has great sources, with samples of the songs, making each episode a joy to listen to.
Poor production quality
The audio on the recent podcasts is overly compressed and distorted. The host’s voice is completely drowned out by the music. Edit points are missed. It makes for a very uncomfortable and sometimes painful listen. Shame.
Top Quality -
This is a premier pod - the quality of content, production, sound, is all incredibly high. I would not class myself as a huge Madonna fan (I’ve listened to nothing of her’s since Confessions) but it doesn’t matter, as the ‘behind the music’-stuff on her tracks is so good & truly interesting, there’s always something to learn or take away. Plus, the hosts voice!! So sexy. I go weak every ep….my name is Dita, I’ll be his mistress tonight 😜 Great cast.
