Logic reasoning of biblical text in literal and historical context
The program 12 Nov 2021 is a real delight in logical thinking. Only wish I can convince them to apply the same logic to miracles. They are acts of love and logic, not magic. The supernatural is not the unnatural but that what is not materialistic. JESUS is not trying to impress us with fulfilling our materialistic wishes by making alcohol to let it be called more valuable that the cleansing water used to make you presentable in the eye of God and God is not trying to impress us with acts of magic fertilisation. The word of God that became flesh is the word is that can turn acts of hate and oppression into a beacons of love and hope. He gave us the power to do the same by living it - and it is not Abrakadabra. Jesus did it, not to satisfy the wrath of his father to change his mind but change us to find our way back. Gid never said that if we were to eat from the tree of th realisation of good and evil that he would kill us in revenge, but warned of the consequences of becoming material selves. It Jesus he offered us the tree of life. To live forever Is the art To learn to live In Jesus heart
Love it !
my favourite Christian podcast as the moment!
Clear thinking Christianity
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had my questions answered by Greg and the team. When I thought I had questions and no one to give answers I came across STR. I have learned principles on how to think and tackle tough problems. I have found the approach of the organisation to be balanced and biblical. It’s a great listen even if you don’t believe the in Christianity but are looking for clear answers from a Christian perspective. Well worth the listen!
