    Something that seems to be missing form a number of MSP's I'm dealing with is correct systems in place for cybersecurity. I recently downloaded a small Outlook plugin that would allow all users to click the button and send an alert when they received a phishing email. This works great and gives users some reassurance when they get those (almost daily) emails. Anyone it turns out that the company behind the "phish alert" button for Outlook in called KnowBe4 and they offer a whole cybersecurity staff awareness portal. There are things like training, simulated email attacks and USB attacks. I thought it would be a good idea to have their MSP channel sales guy (Ollie Pech) on the show to go over the product in some detail.

    I caught up with Nate Freedman of Tech Pro Marketing. He helps managed service providers and IT business market their company. It all started with a customer discovery journey which can be a massive help when choosing an industry to market to. The one question I forgot to ask Nate was if it's even viable for an MSP to niche down into a particular industry. There are two schools of thought about this. One of the problem areas I see is the fact that most IT businesses are local. Nicheing down may restrict your ability depending on the market size locally. Ah well, I guess we'll just have to catch up with him again and ask this question.
