(Episode 93) Nyx, Goddess of the Night

Back by popular demand, I present to you Nyx Goddess of the Night, a little known Goddess in the vast cast of Greek Mythology goddesses but Nyx is particularly special since she’s the only one that Zeus fears… Why, you ask? Maybe this poem performed by Little Miss Perfect clarifies that once and for all or not, you decide.

Thank you all for your comments and likes, also make sure to share this with a dear one who might need to hear. Like Nyx says “Don’t act like you don’t listen” and be a darling, please share this poem 💎

(Episode 102) Poseidon and His Monsters

Featuring Shai Cole, who made Poseidon come alive. Thank you 🙏🏼 and much respect to you and looking forward to hearing more from you soon. Follow him on TikTok @shai_cole

Poseidon makes his appearance in this Greek Mythology Series for the first Time even though he’s been mentioned before by Nyx, Athena and Medusa. However, you’ll get to meet a god so resentful that he’s been recluse and has chosen to remain in his kingdom on the sea bed making his krakens do what they do but I always thought there was something else in that story so here’s my humble take on the myth.

    Poseidon Short Description:

Poseidon is the god of the sea and waters, as well as of horses and earthquakes. This is why so many temples are dedicated to him both along the coasts and inland. On fountains Poseidon is often depicted as a formidable man with a wild beard, sometimes with his companions, the Tritons, which are fish with human torsos.

    (Episode 101) Hypnos

    (Episode 101) Hypnos

Welcome to another Greek Mythology entry where we will explore a little known Greek mythology god named HYPNOS, one who showed to me through signs on a drive through town the other day. Pretty enigmatic character and one who will reveal some secrets to yet another Greek god whose identity is not revealed but will later on make an appearance.

Can you guess who it is? 🤔 If you do and you are one of the first 10 people to guess, drop your response in the comment section 👇🏼 for a virtual price 🎁 to be revealed later on (if you guess right, that is…)

This poem also features cameo appearances from 2 special artists who paid their voices in previous entries, namely Zeus ⚡️ (Mr. Crossing) and Nyx 🌙 (Lindsey Marie). I want to thank them for jumping on the chance to embody a god, goddess, mortal or creature from Greek mythology, there are plenty more where they came from!

Here’s the playlist featuring all the previous poems that lead to HYPNOS 💤 and I strongly recommend you watch them all but in particular Zeus and Nyx:

    HYPNOS BIO

Hypnos was a primordial deity in Greek mythology, the personification of sleep. He lived in a cave next to his twin brother, Thanatos, in the underworld, where no light was cast by the sun or the moon; the earth in front of the cave was full of poppies and other sleep-inducing plants.

(Episode 100) Athena Goddess of Wisdom

(Episode 100) Athena Goddess of Wisdom

Never would I have pictured Athena being such a diva untIl Dee TruePoetry read this piece on Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom and spin it in such a wicked way. I took the liberty of making her a little wicked here because, after all, she did a number on Medusa, the naive priestess in her temple. One never knows a goddess true intentions but it’s fun to play with a chatacter’s dark side, don’t you think?

(Episode 99) War Cry by Ares, God of War

(Episode 99) War Cry by Ares, God of War

Ares, Greek God of War, makes his debut in Italo’s Blog Talk Radio and has quickly become my favorite God thus far. Sorry, Zeus, but i can relate to Ares having rage issues and the reasons why he is the way he is, why is he so rageful and blood thirsty for war. I must warn you that, after hearing Ares’ story, you wont think he’s so bad as he’s been depicted.
