Customer Reviews
Brilliant, just brilliant!
These Jack Benny Shows might be 65-70 years old but they are as funny today as they were back then. The sheer quality of the writing and the performances was superb. Jack's shows with visits to troop camps are an absolute joy to listen to (even if Bob Hope is better remembered for doing these shows), and the crowds just lapped them up.
The supporting stars and the frequent special guests all contribute to make these shows a real treat.
I encourage anyone who doesn't already listen to become acquainted with Jack and Mary, Phil, Dennis, Rochester and Don, and the Maxwell, the Yesssss Man, the vault, the train trips, Gladys and Mabel, the Academy Awards and Mary's poems. It's time to laugh out loud!
