Funny, insightful wish fulfilment

I loved Lani's work on other podcasts (her expertise in story as a subject in and of itself always shines through alongside her love of the subject matter, and the two things carefully coexist), and the West Wing is one of my favourite shows, but this timely take on it has quickly jumped right up top my weekly listening schedule. The focussed selected episode approach suits me better than the other big trawl-every-episode podcast on the WW out there, while actually complementing it: JBIMP is more accessible and engaging but no less incisive and if anything, the analysis somehow feels deeper. That said, it's also warm, light, funny and full of joy in Sorkin's creation and characters, which makes for some great escapism. Highly reccomended.

What a fab first episode!

I love Lani Diane Rich's podcasts and this new West Wing podcast is not different! I loved it - such a good first episode I can't wait for more!

Warm, funny and informative West Wing podcast

I've dipped in and out of the West Wing and always meant to sit down and properly watch it from the start but there was always something else. Despite having 4 box sets already on the go, the fact Lani Diane Rich was doing a West Wing podcast was enough for me to finally start my watching. Lani is a warm, charming podcaster and a knowledgable story expert who excels at breaking it down for the non-expert fan. Jed Bartlett is My President is a delight.
