One if the best if not The best true crime podcasts

This is without doubt the best true crime podcast. The attention to detail to the crimes they talk about and shout out loud about is just brilliant. I recommend The Murder Squad to anyone who will listen. Thank you Paul and Billy.

Outstanding true crime podcast!

This is one of the best podcasts in the true crime genre. All the subject matter is dealt with in a respectful manner. The victims stories are told in a way that is compelling but not sensationalized. The entire team come across as compassionate and empathetic towards the victims and their families. Some true crime podcasts have turned me off in the past, as half way through a serous story about a murder, they will crack really inappropriate jokes. The Murder Squad deal with sensitive content in the right way, they give the victims dignity. Billy is great, as an investigative crime journalist he is always asking all the pertinent questions and conveying the narrative in an articulate manner, whereas Paul’s theories and analysis of crime scenes and unsubs motives etc drawing on his extensive law enforcement and forensic knowledge are so fascinating. And I love his accent! And the weekly distractions segment is a nice lighter way to end the podcast, so it’s not just grim content, but without being flippant. Thank you for a super podcast. Jodie, A listener from England, but living in Qatar. x
