JFC keeps my movie love healthy
A podcast hosted by two pros. Two veterans of the industry. Two movie lovers. These days there are many film fans, cinephiles, movie buffs, nerds, critics, but these two men are genuine film lovers. I feel the need to emphasis the level of film adoration on display because there is no reason to. After a short listen, these two will undoubtably convince you more than I could. These two men revel in this medium and I am a happier person because they have endured and have not lost any luster. There is 7+ years of episodes, with odd titles and behind each-

Almost every episode features a side tidbit usually about movie fandom and industry BTS connection or even a personal story and they are so good that I have started to take notes which told story belongs to which episode as they are often incredible.

You can trace the narratives of both men and their film journey. Cargil (Spill.com, Ain't it Cool, Books, Sinister & Dr. Strange) and Brian (FilmScholRejects & OneOfUs.net) who both will coddle you into a safe space where the strange world of odd, retro, and underground cinema in every conceivable genre and setting is welcome to all who will listen. These two men are the coolest film nerds I've ever known or can pretend I know. I can fully say that these two have enhanced my film appreciation and introduced me to several gems, while informing me on a few I thought I knew.
I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys self aware, unashamed film love and wants to have their movies-to-watch list rapidly expand. You will hear about some scourges of the film chemical process and also some miracles of production chaos and it will all be delivered with a smile, a fun story and a usually a killer related movie recommendation. For me personally they have always reminded me to have fun, enjoy the watch and share the goodtimes and even some of the bad ones (for laughs).
The definitive movie fans podcast.
A great movie podcast that takes a deep dive on all of those classic, cult and cheeseball movies that you know and love, or are yet to discover.
Brian & Cargill are very funny and knowleadgable often giving their own perosnal reasons on why they love the movies as well as some great production stories. Warning this podcast is addictive and may lead to you buying and renting more movies for your enjoyment.
Brilliant entertainment but annoying adverts
Been listening to Brian & Cargill for years and their take on films is always entertaining whether it’s a film I know or not.
Only downside is recently adverts have been inserted in the middle of the podcast, literally in the middle of the guys talking. But this doesn’t stop this being a five star podcast.
