A fine example of what a podcast should be
Gary and Margaret are clearly passionate about what they do and sum up an image of a couple of contented beekeepers, sharing their passion with the wider world, broadcasting from some sort of kiwi nirvana where the gentle hum of Apis Mellifera is occasionally interrupted by the sharp crack of a hive tool opening a super, overflowing with golden honey. It would seem that in kiwimana-land, everything is indeed, "Awesome". Interspersed with humour, rants and some excellent interviews with people all over the planet, this is the gold standard to which beekeeping podcasts should aspire. Audio quality is consistently good and bad language almost always edited out. The accents are delightful too. Criticisms? I really, honestly can't think of any - it would just be nitpicking. Just don't get too cocky with beekeepers around the world blowing their collective smokers up your mesh floors guys!
The Bees Nees
I would highly recommend this Podcasts to all beekeepers. The format is very good and relaxed, in true Kiwi style! Gary and Margret have covered a wide range of topics which will interest the novice and also more experienced beekeeper. I like the format, especially the slot about new bee news items and always enjoy hearing what is going on with the hives at Kiwimana HQ. The presenters have a good sense of humor and Margaret's little "tangents off piste" are amusing. They have interviewed some very interesting international guests but also local new beekeepers, more please. Thank you for continually highlighting environmental issues Margaret. The website is great, thanks for all your hard work in producing the podcasts.

Brilliant and relevant world-wide
Superb beekeeping podcast from this pair of Z beekeepers talking about their experiences in beekeeping, collecting swarms, dealing with other beekeepers and their views on beekeeping topics - I am in the UK and even though their beekeeping season is in reverse to mine, their content is great and their presentation is cheery and informative. Often they have good guests too, from around the world, adding their experience to show. Really worth a listen.
