Kurt Fearnley: a world view to alter the way you think about everything Empowering Leaders

    • Careers

In 2009, Kurt Fearnley crawled the Kokoda track in Papua New Guinea to raise awareness for men's mental health. He was a member of the winning Sydney to Hobart yacht crew on the Investec Loyal in 2012 and New South Wales Australian of the Year in 2019.

Born in the middle of Wiradjuri land, in a small country town called Carcoar, without the lower portion of his spine, Kurt has demonstrated time and time again the determination and resilience required to do it all while leading in his own unique way.

In this conversation you'll have a front row seat to a candid conversation about Kurt's life, challenges, leadership style, and you'll hear why no one ever wants to be the unrequited recipient of pity. With his drive to find beauty and value in everything in life, there's no doubt that Kurt's way of looking at the world will change they way you look at it, too.

Show Notes:

Luke and Kurt talked about Allan Marshall’s book I Can Jump Puddles
