    'Marina Sirtis- Feature Interview'

    'Marina Sirtis- Feature Interview'

Host Ricky Sacks was joined by special guest Marina Sirtis on this edition of the Last Word On Spurs.

Marina Sirtis used to live within walking distance of White Hart Lane. The Hackney-born, LA-based actress admits those days now feel like a galaxy away...just like in the Star Trek films and TV series that made her famous in the role of Deanna Troi.

Marina landed the role of Deanna Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1987 and that has been her life since with a further two TV series and four Star Trek films keeping her in that role until 2005.

She’s also appeared in the likes of Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS and a number of films including Oscar-winner Crash in 2004.

'Nuno - The Man Behind The Manager'

'Nuno - The Man Behind The Manager'

Host Ricky Sacks was joined by Lee McQueen, Antony Costa and Chris Cowlin on this Last Word On Spurs.

Nuno Espirito Santo has barely set foot through the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium doors but already has some major jobs on his hands in north London.

The ex-Wolves boss takes over a team without a permanent head coach for approaching two and a half months since Jose Mourinho was sacked on April 19.

In that time, more questions than answers have reared their head, far apart from the overdue appointment of a new head coach. And, with only 45 days to go until their Premier League season gets under way against champions Manchester City, Nuno has plenty in his in-tray over the next seven weeks.

    '#WelcomeNuno'

Host Ricky Sacks was joined by Antony Costa and Jason McGovern on this edition of the Last Word On Spurs.

Tottenham have appointed former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo as their new manager on a two-year contract.

Nuno left Wolves in May after four impressive seasons, during which time he took the club from the Championship to a Europa League quarter-final. Spurs sacked Jose Mourinho in April and replaced him with 29-year-old Ryan Mason until the end of last season.

"It's an enormous pleasure and honour [to be at Spurs]. I'm happy and looking forward to starting work. We don't have any days to lose and we must start working immediately as pre-season starts in a few days."

Nuno will not have long to wait to face his former club as Spurs have a trip to Molineux to face Wolves in their second league game of the season on 22 August. Whether he will have 27-year-old striker Harry Kane available remains to be seen.

    'Spurs Managerial Hunt'

    'Spurs Managerial Hunt'

Host Ricky Sacks was joined by Lee McQueen, John from Lilywhite Rose and debutant to the show Matt Hayes as the Last Word On Spurs returned.

Tottenham Hotspur are edging towards the appointment of Nuno Espirito Santo as their next head coach and that in turn could increase the influence of super agent Jorge Mendes at the club.

Extensive talks have now been held with the 47-year-old former Wolves boss about taking the job in north London and he could be appointed next week ahead of the return of Spurs' non-international players for pre-season training at Hotspur Way on July 5.

It has been 67 days since Jose Mourinho was relieved of his duties and a messy search for his successor has seen the club hold talks with varied styles of candidates despite Daniel Levy's clear and very public message to the fans that he wanted to appoint a head coach who would bring "free-flowing, attacking and entertaining" football.

Always a great listen, captures everything about being Spurs

Great guests, well structured, passionate, fun, ....they have an uncanny knack to always hit the nail on the head, say what we are all feeling and delivered in a way that connects with the listener. Proper Spurs fans, simply saying how it is, wearing their heart on their sleeve, and all good fun along the way.
