The presence of the buffalo in the lions’ territory has attracted the attention of a rival pride. The intruders are formidable – and their presence will not be tolerated. As Renoka and Lakan prepare to defend their territory, the stage is set for a vicious confrontation that will have tragic consequences.

The lionesses are in hunting mode and they’ve set their sights on their favourite target: the Cape buffalo. The buffalo herd will remain in the lions’ territory for only a short time so they must act quickly. But something dangerous separates the lions from their target: crocodile-infested waters.

The lion pride is expanding once again in the latest episode of our nature video series. A few unexpected (but very cute) arrivals change the family dynamic and the female hunters must get to work to feed their growing brood. Can the newborns fend for themselves as the lionesses depart for the hunt?
