    After completing a psychology degree, Damian qualified as a primary school teacher. Having an interest in clinical psychology Damian gained practical experience in a children’s home as a care worker and also worked in positions, such as Assistant Psychologist and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in child and adult psychology services.  

    Together we discuss the difference and similarities between Damians role as a clinical Psychologist and my own role as a Psychotherapist.

    * Should we bring our own experiences into the therapy room? 

    * Unregulated practitioners 

    * Working ethically 

    * Being open to criticism

    After completing a clinical psychology doctorate,  Damian worked as a Clinical Psychologist in CAMHS, which he loved. He now works for a psychotherapy service and his main passion is working therapeutically with people one-one, providing a safe, containing, exploratory space. Damian works psychodynamically, but integratively where needed.   

    Damian enjoys neuropsychological assessment, teaching, research, and supervision, particularly of trainee clinical psychologists.

    Here is the Podcast that was meant to happen last week 🤪, Rob showed up this week and we had an amazing chat about life, business, anxiety, seeing a therapist and F@CK what anyone else thinks about you! 🥰.  

    Rob Moore is a multi-millionaire with multiple successful businesses and had some amazing insights to share about his own life and journey, and even why he saw a therapist.  

    Rob wasn't born the successful multi-millionaire that he is today, and nobody is! 

    He has grown and evolved over 42 years by constantly learning, adapting and putting himself out there, trying things, making mistakes and being human, and so can YOU if you constantly step outside of your comfort zone.  

    He had an amazing view on anxiety too - that if nobody saw what you did (or the thing you are worried about) then would it still make you anxious? 

    So deep down some people's anxiety could actually be a fear of being judged.

Absolutely love listening to Jacci. She has such a down to earth, human, compassionate warm nature that just comes through with all her guests. Really does remind you that we all just need to love, living life being human.
