Use of the Whip
I should be very interested to read your article about the Monmouth Park trial in the US. I feel very strongly about over use of the whip, particularly with the young fillies/horses.

NON Compliance with Face Masks
Hello Nick
Thank you for a really enjoyable Sunday programme.
There is something I would like to bring to you attention, though I’m sure you’ve noticed it too.
As the owner of racehorses, I am really looking forward to seeing my horse race at the racetrack. It is not the same when I see him on the TV only.
Everyone at a race meeting, trainers, handlers, jockeys and all employed at the course wear face masks, this is so good to see, they need to keep safe.
However what I am noticing is the number of what can only be race horse owners that are not wearing face masks.!!
I am aware of exemptions for those who may suffer from breathing illnesses such as asthma. But the number I see not complying with the face mask rule, there is a epidemic of asthma sufferers in the UK.
The way I see it no face mask or visor no entry. If they take it off once on site, they should be asked to leave.
Nick have a look and see for yourself at the non face mask wearers at the race courses.
